PackagerThe Packager position is responsible for the packaging of goods and materials relative to customer specifications with accuracy and quality. This position requires the de-consolidation of inbound loads and the preparation of packages for shipment.Primary Job Duties:Ensures proper material handling and packaging standards are met.Performs accurate physical count of material quantity to resolve discrepancies.Uses work orders to ensure proper parts/quantity are available for shipment.Completes transactions in a bar code/scanner computer system.Properly packages and secures material to ensure material is not damaged during transportation.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Some college/technical school or experience in a third-party logistics environment preferred.
