About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Creative Director, Copy to spearhead the copy discipline and contribute significantly to the creative leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the vision, priorities, and standards for copy, ensuring that the work produced is of the highest creative quality, strategically sound, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves leading and developing a team of copywriters and editors, as well as collaborating closely with various departments to integrate and deliver exceptional creative work. The VP, Creative Director, Copy will also be involved in client and business leadership, representing the copy discipline in senior client interactions, and leading creative development for new business opportunities. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years' copy/creative experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, or highly regulated advertising, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A strong portfolio showcasing cutting-edge work and exceptional concepts in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven track record in team development, resource planning, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and trends. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing creative ambition with strategic and commercial considerations, and possess strong communication and client-facing skills. The position demands a visionary thinker who can also provide hands-on oversight of copy execution, and who is capable of fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
