Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $120,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of hands-on infrastructure and cloud engineering experience
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise infrastructure and Microsoft Azure environments
• Strong background with Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including configuration and administration
• Experience partnering with cloud and infrastructure architects to translate solution designs into deployed Azure environments
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for infrastructure automation, bulk administration, configuration management, and repeatable operations
• Experience applying infrastructure-as-code principles with Terraform to support automated Azure deployments and standardized environments
• Knowledge of Azure networking, including VNets, subnets, routing, connectivity, network security, and hub architectures
• Experience integrating Azure services with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, identity services, and on-premises infrastructure
• Understanding of cloud security and governance practices, including enterprise security controls and compliance standards
• Ability to troubleshoot Azure, Windows, identity, networking, and hybrid cloud issues through root cause analysis
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple infrastructure initiatives independently and prioritize deliverables with minimal supervision
• Strong collaboration skills with technical teams and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable infrastructure solutions
• Preferred experience with Terraform, reusable module development, Azure platform services, Microsoft identity and endpoint management tools, and monitoring platforms such as Datadog, Site24x7, or Azure Monitor

• Take ownership of Azure engineering work currently handled by the architecture team
• Build, automate, and expand cloud capabilities across the organization
• Work directly with architects to engineer, deploy, and operationalize Azure solutions
• Develop PowerShell scripts to support automation and administrative efficiency
• Apply Terraform and IaC practices to enable automated Azure infrastructure delivery
• Design and support Azure networking and hybrid infrastructure integrations
• Implement secure cloud foundations aligned with governance and information security requirements
• Investigate and resolve infrastructure issues across Azure, Windows, identity, networking, and hybrid environments
• Drive multiple infrastructure efforts forward with limited oversight
• Partner with technical and business teams to turn needs into scalable enterprise cloud solutions
