About the Role Our client in East London is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Accountant to support their finance department. This entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience across various accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. You will work under the guidance of senior accounting staff, contributing to the accurate maintenance of financial records and learning essential accounting practices within a supportive team environment in the Eastern Cape. Key Responsibilities Assist with general ledger entries and reconciliations. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Support month-end closing procedures. Help prepare financial reports and schedules. Assist with bank reconciliations and cash management. Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Strong understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and eagerness to learn accounting software.
