As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for examinations, explaining procedures, and performing diagnostic procedures as ordered by physicians.

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety. You will:

• Prepare and position patients for examinations and determine the proper technique for imaging
• Perform diagnostic procedures using CR, Fluoro, and DR rooms safely and efficiently
• Operate radiologic equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
• Administer IV and oral contrast media as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and imaging procedures in PACS
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff
• Ensure radiation safety practices are followed according to ALARA standards
• Assist radiologists and other healthcare professionals during examinations
• Perform clerical duties and assist with office functions as needed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a specialized training program in Radiological Technology approved by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Registered with the ARRT in Radiology
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and radiologic procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow written and verbal instructions
• Need 1 year experience in setting
