Job Purpose Promotes dental health by completing dental prophylaxis; providing oral cancer screening and radiographic studies; charting conditions of decay and disease; performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act. Duties Work in partnership with the doctor to capture prosthodontic exam information to be used for implant treatment planning Work in partnership with our Sales Consultants to ensure world‑class patient care is delivered and revenue targets are achieved Prepare the treatment room for the patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols Prepare the patient for dental hygiene treatment by welcoming, soothing, seating, and draping the patient Provide information to patients and employees by answering questions and requests Maintain instrumentation for dental hygiene treatment by sharpening, sterilizing, and selecting instruments Select materials and equipment for the dental hygiene visit by evaluating patients’ oral health Complete dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth, from beneath gum margins, around abutments and restorations of implant crowns/bridges and around abutments and beneath full‑arch fixed implant restorations Detect disease by completing an oral cancer screening; feeling and visually examining gingiva and oral/peri‑implant mucosa using probes to locate periodontal and peri‑implant disease; assessing levels of recession; and taking digital radiographs Clean and polish removable appliances Educate patients by giving oral hygiene and plaque control instructions and postoperative instructions; providing reminders for the next dental hygiene visit Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection‑control policies and protocols Conserve dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Skills/Qualifications At least 1 year of experience as a hygienist Dental implant experience strongly desired, particularly with fixed full‑arch prostheses Commitment to providing world‑class patient experience Excellent communication skills Professional appearance Use of dental technology, dental health maintenance, infection control, health promotion, and maintenance Creating a safe, effective environment Listening, teamwork, thoroughness, and self‑development Benefits We offer an excellent base salary of $53‑58 per hour. #J-18808-Ljbffr ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers
