Mammography Technologist – Point Pleasant, NJ

Employment Type: Full-time
Rate: $40 – $45/hour

Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Mammography Technologist to join an imaging office at a radiology group located in Point Pleasant, NJ. This role requires an experienced professional capable of performing mammography exams while maintaining MQSA standards and supporting radiologists in a patient-focused environment, with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT(R)(M) required; NJ State license and CPR certification required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Ability to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain all diagnostic equipment to perform mammography exams.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to procedures performed.
• Maintain procedure protocols to assist the radiologist in all exams.
• Maintain the required number of mammograms and CMEs per MQSA standards.
• Know the application and location of supply items in the department.
• Properly position patients onto the examination table as needed.
• Complete all mandatory in-service classes annually.
• Assist in training staff as needed.
• Perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment while adhering to all department and facility safety protocols.
