Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to install maintain troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate is customer-focused safety-conscious and capable of working independently while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose troubleshoot and repair commercial HVAC systems and components.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and equipment tune-ups.
• Service and maintain rooftop units (RTUs) split systems package units heat pumps air handlers ventilation systems and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical mechanical refrigerant airflow and control system issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints wiring diagrams schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform startup testing and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Communicate findings repair recommendations and maintenance needs to customers.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow all company safety policies and industry regulations.
• Participate in an on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience servicing RTUs split systems package units heat pumps air handlers and ventilation equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) Direct Digital Controls (DDC) and HVAC controls is a plus.
