Client Services Solution Manager

We are searching for an accomplished Client Services Solution Consultant. You will be responsible for scoping and selling services that the Sage HCM Professional Services team delivers for customers. You will leverage deep expertise in professional services sales and ERP implementations and to define project scope, develop compelling services proposals, and ensure alignment between customer objectives and delivery strategy. This role requires a strong blend of commercial acumen and implementation experience. The Client Services Solution Consultant is a member of the Sage HCM Professional Services organization and reports to the Director of Professional Services.
This is a hybrid office environment that meets 3 days a week in our Atlanta or Austin office.
• Engage in the sales process as the PS representative on assigned opportunities, ensuring delivery scoping is thorough, realistic, and aligned with the client's actual implementation needs before a SOW is finalized.
• Lead discovery and needs identification by conducting structured conversations with prospects to surface business requirements, integration dependencies, data complexity, and configuration needs that directly inform scope.
• Analyze and document implementation risks associated with each opportunity, proactively flagging gaps, ambiguities, or assumptions that could affect delivery timelines, resource requirements, or client expectations.
• Produce comprehensive scoping notes for the Professional Services team that translate sales conversations into actionable delivery context — capturing environment details, customization needs, and client-specific considerations.
• Author or assist in authoring and alignment of Statements of Work, including scope definitions, assumptions, exclusions, estimated durations, and cost structures, ensuring accuracy and consistency between what Sales has positioned and what PS can deliver.
• Serve as the bridge between Sales and PS, actively reducing handoff gaps by ensuring the opportunity record, SOW, and internal project briefings reflect a shared, accurate understanding of client commitments.
• Leverage and continuously improve PS sales tools (SOW templates, pricing modeler, duration estimator, etc.), applying them consistently and feeding back recommendations based on real-world scoping experience.
• Keep current on the latest Sage HCM software features and enhancements as necessary to scope and sell the related services.
Skills, know-how and experience:
• Minimum three years of progressively responsible experience selling and/or implementing/supporting/managing HCM as a Service (“SaaS”) subscribed solutions. (Previous experience may include Scoping Support or Proposals Manager/Lead)
• Experienced in aligning Sales & PS delivery needs; collaborating with multiple team members of varying roles/responsibilities throughout the process with a proven track record of success identifying services necessary to deliver highly satisfied customers (on-time, on-budget, and solutions sold/delivered met expectations).
• Ability to plan and deliver multiple work assignments on-time and fulfil commitments.
• Exposure to a broad range of industries and business scenarios including but not limited to the following: software provider, services project accounting, financial management, franchise model, international business, and inventory management.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, positive-minded, intellectually curious, responsible, creative, driven, and confident.
