Responsibilities
- Deliver direct, coordinated nursing care for an assigned ICU patient population using the nursing process.
- Monitor and manage hemodynamics, ventilated patients, and complex clinical scenarios; administer medications and therapies as ordered.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the care team to optimize outcomes.
- Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record and update care plans as patient status evolves.
- Participate in discharge planning, patient/family education, and safety initiatives to ensure continuity of care.
- Supervise and coordinate tasks for assigned nursing staff and support personnel as appropriate.

Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active RN license in the state of practice (California); Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS or ARC-ALS
- Experience: At least two years of recent ICU/acute care nursing experience; critical care experience required
- Education: BSN preferred
- Special qualifications: EPIC EHR experience; ability to thrive in a high-acuity ICU setting
