Real Estate Attorney

Impact Title

Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available. Use your legal expertise to protect the business, strengthen the team, and help shape what comes next. At Impact Title, we’re looking for a Real Estate Attorney who can bring sound legal judgment, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit to our team. This role is less about where you are in your career and more about what you bring to the table and how you bring it. You may be an attorney early in your career who is eager to gain meaningful real estate experience. You may have years of experience and be looking for an opportunity to invest your knowledge into others. Or, you may be an experienced professional looking for a more flexible schedule while continuing to do work that matters. We’re open to what that looks like for the right person. The Impact You'll Have As our Real Estate Attorney, you’ll help Impact Title navigate the legal complexities of the title and real estate industry with confidence. You’ll serve as a trusted legal resource for the organization—helping us remain compliant, think through risk, solve problems, and make informed decisions. Just as importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to build knowledge across the team by explaining the "why" behind legal guidance rather than simply providing an answer. Your expertise will help us protect the organization while continuing to serve our customers and communities with excellence. What You’ll Do While the full scope of this role is still being developed, key areas of impact may include: Provide legal guidance related to real estate, title, contracts, and business operations Help ensure Impact Title remains legally compliant within the title and real estate industry Review documents, agreements, processes, and situations requiring legal expertise Identify potential legal risks and help leaders understand practical solutions Research legal questions and evolving industry requirements Communicate complex legal information in a way that is clear and actionable Partner with leaders and team members to solve problems with wisdom and sound judgment Share legal and industry knowledge to help develop others and strengthen the organization Help create or improve processes that support consistency, compliance, and operational excellence Who We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who combines strong legal knowledge with curiosity, humility, and a desire to contribute. You’ll likely thrive in this role if you are: Detailed and thorough – You recognize that small details can carry significant legal implications and take ownership of getting them right. A clear communicator – You can translate complicated legal concepts into practical guidance others can understand and use. Curious – You ask questions, research thoroughly, and are willing to explore a better way rather than defaulting to "this is how it has always been done." Collaborative – You enjoy partnering with others and see legal expertise as a resource to equip the team, not information to hold onto. A knowledge‑sharer – You willingly teach, explain, and invest what you know into others. Adaptable – You can bring your expertise to the table while remaining open to learning, feedback, and new perspectives. Dependable – People can trust your judgment, follow-through, discretion, and work ethic. What You’ll Need Must have passed the Texas Bar and be eligible to practice law in Texas Strong understanding of legal principles and the ability to research and interpret applicable laws and regulations Exceptional attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Sound judgment, discretion, and a high level of integrity Preferred Experience Experience in real estate, title, contracts, or related legal work is preferred, but we are open to different levels of experience. For the right person, this could be an opportunity to build your expertise in the real estate and title industry—or an opportunity to share the expertise you’ve spent a career developing. A Role That Can Fit Different Seasons We recognize that great experience comes in many forms, and we’re intentionally open-minded about who could be successful in this role. This could be a great opportunity for: A newer attorney looking for hands‑on experience and an opportunity to grow An established attorney interested in bringing their expertise into a collaborative business environment A seasoned attorney who wants to mentor others and invest their knowledge into the next generation An experienced professional looking for a meaningful role with a reduced schedule We are open to discussing both f ull-time and part-time possibilities, including a potential three-day workweek, depending on the candidate and the needs of the role. Why Impact Title? At Impact Title, legal expertise isn't meant to sit on the sidelines. This role has the opportunity to influence decisions, strengthen processes, equip people, and help our organization grow responsibly. We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of the team—not simply the person we call when something goes wrong. If you’re a Texas attorney who values excellence, curiosity, collaboration, and using what you know to help others succeed, we’d love to learn more about you. Ready to Make an Impact? Whether you're looking to build the next chapter of your legal career or use decades of experience to strengthen others, there may be a place for you here. #J-18808-Ljbffr
