Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (shifts may occasionally run 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM as needed) | Every other weekend and holiday coverage expected as needed | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups, including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health populations
• Deliver care within a facility that includes a cath lab, women's health services, and a designated stroke care program; STEMI and Stroke facility experience is required
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
• Complete a compliance EKG exam prior to beginning patient care (two attempts allowed)
• Participate in unit-based orientation modules (non-billable; average 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as operationally needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; current driver's license required to verify address
• No open background check cases permitted; third-party education verification required (degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted)
• Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with the application — no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for diverse and complex patient populations including oncology, sepsis, and behavioral health
• Familiarity with cath lab, women's health, or dedicated stroke care environments
• Strong adaptability and comfort with floating across multiple campus settings
