Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience who can provide strong technical and project management support to the department.

The preferred qualifications include:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
  
• 10 years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience.
  
• Florida PE license.
  
• Strong experience with geotechnical investigations engineering analyses foundation recommendations and preparation/review of geotechnical reports.
  
• Experience managing multiple geotechnical projects including scope schedule budget field investigations and deliverables.
  
• Familiarity with Florida subsurface conditions and FDOT and other Florida agency requirements is preferred.
  
• Strong technical writing QA/QC and problem-solving capabilities.
  
• Ability to coordinate directly with clients contractors field staff laboratories and other engineering disciplines.
  
• Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and staff.
  
• Strong communication and client management skills.
