Rehabilitation Technician

The Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for supporting Licensed Clinical Staff in assisting patients with rehabilitation services. This position prepares the treatment environment for care and works collaboratively in a team environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Provides hands-on assistance at the direction of the Supervising Therapist.
• Transports patients to and from therapy area, as required.
• Maintains a clean environment prepared for patient care.
• As applicable, maintains department equipment by cleaning, disinfecting, maintaining orderly condition and reporting defective equipment.
• Monitors inventory needs for required department equipment and supplies; places orders as required to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
• Performs clerical duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma/GED Preferred
• 1 year Patient Care Experience Preferred
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
