And if you want to join a company creating innovative technologies that make the world's roads safer and more efficient, this IS your role.Wavetronix is looking for a Field Service Technician who is eager to help solve customer technical problems and professionally walk them through the installation, training, and support of new and existing products.What Success Looks LikeCustomer Support & Technical ServiceProvide service and customer support during field visits and phone supportHelp manage all on-site installation/configuration of productsDiagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutionsDemonstrate and troubleshoot Wavetronix productsProvide technical training (typically up to 10 people) on products as needed either in the field or in officeComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendationsBuild positive relationships with customersEnjoy being in front of customersTechnical Knowledge & SkillsMaster installation and configuration of Wavetronix core productsHave a basic understanding of networkingHave previous field service experience in traffic signal/ITS cabinetsTechnical degree or certifications in ITS/Traffic industryCommunication & TeamworkHave clear written and verbal communication skillsCooperate with the team and share information across the organizationDocument processes and produce timely and detailed trip reportsKeep track of current projects and support cases in CRMWork Style & TravelBe self-motivated and enjoy working on and with teamsBe intrinsically motivated and enjoy working with the customerAbility to work flexible shifts and adapt workflow to changing project schedulesExcited about personal development and eager to engage in development trainingWilling and able to travel to multiple locationsTraining & Development Milestones3 Month MilestonesUnderstand company core values, strategies, and initiativesDemonstrate functional knowledge to troubleshoot, test, repair and service Wavetronix technical equipmentAble to effectively use mobile tools and applicationsHave a positive relationship with Wavetronix customersAble to understand and effectively communicate technical procedures and processes to customersComprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations to the clientEffectively communicate and cooperate with Technical Services and share information across the organization6 Month MilestonesMaster installation and configuration of Wavetronix productsDemonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipmentDemonstrate functional knowledge of Wavetronix non-core product line12 Month MilestonesAbility to install, configure, troubleshoot, and demonstrate all Wavetronix productsLearn intersection and controller cabinet basic operationPerform at least five solo technical customer visitsWhy Wavetronix?Wavetronix is the leader in radar in the Intelligent Traffic Industry.
