Job Description\n Tenet South Carolina is seeking a CT Technologist for a job in Rock Hill, South Carolina.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: CT Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Duration: Ongoing\n Employment Type: Staff\n \n \n ***$20,000 Sign-on Bonus (Paid over 2 Years)***\n The purpose of this position is to provide CT scan examinations to patients of all ages. Technologists provide patient care services using CT imaging. This includes assessing the patient’s condition, operating equipment, proficiency in PACS, preparing examination rooms, and maintaining equipment, supplies, and medications. Technologists are also required to maintain necessary patient records and participate in the departmental Performance Improvement Program.\n \n Transfers patient to exam table; ensures proper covering of patient according to policy and procedure.\n Arranges, attaches, or adjusts immobilization and support devices according to procedure, ensuring limitation of patient movement. \n Assesses patients condition & determines proper breathing instructions (utilizing it properly), exposure factors. \n Demonstrates satisfactory positioning and equipment knowledge; consistently produces radiographs of diagnostic quality.\n Utilizes proper Radiation Safety with patient, self, and others.\n Performs related duties as required.\n \n Required:\n \n Education: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree or equivalent or graduation within 6 months.\n Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: \n \n SCRQSA license is required for a current graduate.\n SCRQSA limited license is required for a student, must obtain SCRQSA permanent license within 6 months of employment.\n American Heart Association BLS CPR certification required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.\n \n \n Preferred:\n \n Experience: 1 to 2 years of job-related experience preferred.\n Certifications/Registrations/Licenses:\n \n Registered with ARRT – CT or registry eligible preferred.\n \n \n \n \n Tenet South Carolina Job ID #View phone number on click.appcast.io.
