Reliability Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to support mechanical reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement for a leading manufacturing operation in the greater New Orleans, LA area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage and improve the plant's Preventive Maintenance (PM) and mechanical reliability programs to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
• Lead Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) and develop corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures.
• Analyze reliability and equipment data to identify trends, improve performance, and support asset reliability strategies.
• Develop engineering solutions for recurring equipment and operational issues impacting safety, quality, cost, and production.
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance, equipment specifications, repair procedures, and maintenance training involving piping, valves, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, boilers, and related equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Experience with reliability engineering, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and asset management.
• API 510, 570, or 653 certification preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizen or green card holder.
