Lead Host

Manong is looking to add a Lead Host to our team. The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality, knows their way through a busy service, and can keep things running smoothly as part of a tight knit crew. We are looking for a team player who is kind and willing to learn. Bonus if you have some knowledge about wine, too!

Essential Functions

• Responsible for prompt, efficient, and friendly service during our evening dinner service. The Lead Host will be first point of contact for all dining guests, and will greet them, check them in, and seat them. 
• Cross-trained with other FOH team members this person will maintain our standards of hospitality by working the floor, refilling guest water, pre-bussing tables, and helping to direct the flow of service in the dining room. 
• Our Lead Host will assist in our Bottle Shop operations, including completing transactions, making recommendations, and answering customer questions. They will also ensure the Bottle Shop is well-stocked and tidy before service. 
• As required, this position will take phone calls, call to confirm reservations, return voice messages and related tasks. 

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of hosting, serving, or relevant experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and professional

We are currently hiring for 3-4 shifts per week. Evening and weekend availability is required.
