Equipment Operator

Our client, in the warehousing and logistics industry, is seeking a Equipment Operator to join their team. As a Equipment Operator, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and shipment processing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Equipment Operator

Location: Portland, OR

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday; 6:00AM - ~2:30PM

What's the Job?

• Safely operate material handling equipment (MHE) including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks.
• Unload trailers, verify loads for accuracy, and stage items for put-away.
• Pull customer orders from warehouse locations and utilize conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
• Load trucks according to delivery requirements, ensuring timely and accurate shipments.
• Maintain proper inventory levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) scan guns and tools, and assist with physical inventories and cycle counts.

What's Needed?

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to lift 35-48 lbs consistently and occasionally move up to 100 lbs.
• Own reliable transportation (for equipment operators).
• Must meet minimum age requirement of 18 years.
• Compliance with background checks, drug screening, and other onboarding requirements.
