Senior Supply Chain Manager

Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees are a plus
• 5+ years in procurement or supply chain management
• Proven leadership experience managing a team with 4-5 direct reports
• Strong background in commodity/industrial purchasing and packaging materials (labels, plastics, containers, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in MRP systems (preferably JD Edwards/E1)
• Budget management and expense control skills
• Willingness to travel approximately two weeks each month for supplier visits and industry meetings
• Collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee and mentor the procurement team across multiple sites, fostering growth and efficiency
• Manage direct purchasing functions and supplier performance to meet organizational goals
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of priorities and operations
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive data related to costs, formulas, SDS, and bills of materials
• Support sourcing initiatives and cultivate supplier relationships through regular visits and meetings
• Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company standards and procedures
