The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.The Controller/Finance Manager will be based in Milpitas, California, reporting to the Sr. Controller of Finance.The Controller serves as a strategic business partner responsible for leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and analysis activities that support operational and financial decision-making across the organization.This role partners closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to provide actionable business insights, drive financial performance, and support strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor to both technical and business stakeholders, helping leaders understand financial impacts, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and make informed decisions.The ideal candidate combines strong financial planning and analysis expertise with exceptional attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to leadership teams You will lead and manage the finance team to ensure accounting and financial processes and procedures are in accordance with corporate and legislative requirements.What a typical day looks like:Oversee the activities of the Accounting and Finance Department regarding the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and monthly external financial statements, 12 month rolling forecasts.Establish and maintain systems and controls which safeguard company assets by verifying the integrity of all systems, processes, and data, and enhance the Company's value, including complying with the requirements of the Sarbanes Oxley Act, corporate policies, and financial controls.Prepare reports that summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations.Deliver detailed variance analysis, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key business drivers.Partner with operational, engineering, and functional leaders to support business objectives and drive financial accountability.Maximize financial returns by establishing and overseeing the financial aspects of the assigned site/business segment performance.Proactively drive actions to improve profitability, cashflow and long-term performance.Identify & build business cases for investments, evaluate & mitigate risks, understand foreign exchange and currencies impacts, support quotes & work with customers, drawing on strong business acumen to achieve high site performance.Identify and develop opportunities for process improvements such as finance digitization efforts.Ensure compliance and adherence to corporate policies, local country, and US GAAP, as well as tax, customs, Tariffs and trade compliance.Support internal and external audits and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.Perform/lead all finance month close activities and collaborate with GBS teams, including stakeholders across the U.S, Mexico and India.Drive HR Strategies, Talent Development, coaching, mentoring and culture actions and retain a qualified, motivated & high performing workforce.The experience we're looking to add to our team:Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience and training.A background in manufacturing/cost accounting is preferred.Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.Experience working within ERP’s Baan, preferredKnowledge of US GAAP & SOX complianceMBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant professional certifications are added on & preferred.Experience with OneStream or similar financial planning and performance management systems is a plus.Expertise in Microsoft applications and Excel knowledge.Excellent attention to detail with a focus on timeliness, accuracy, and executionWhat you'll receive for the great work you provide:Full range of medical, dental, and vision plansLife InsuranceShort-term and Long-term DisabilityMatching 401(k) ContributionsVacation and Paid Sick TimeTuition Reimbursement Application Deadline:Applications for this job position will be accepted for at least five days following the job posting start date below and continuing until the end date below or until the position is filled.
