Yard Associate

Yard AssociateTibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building Materials company, is seeking an experienced Yard Associate. Under direct supervision, the qualified candidate will perform a variety of yard activities including, operating a forklift to move product and material throughout the yard and providing customer service to Tibbetts Lumber customers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Ability to lift doors and windows up to 75 pounds when neededAssist customers in the location and loading of productReview materials loaded against invoice or requisition; complete and route paperwork appropriatelyMove product/material throughout the yard ensuring placement in correct areasEnsure product/material is well stocked of inventory at all timesPerform routine clean-up of yardUnderstand and observe all safety procedures and practicesProvide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all timesAll other duties as assignedExperience Required:High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Six (6) months of experience with performing these or similar tasks; or equivalent combination of training, education and experienceOSHA Forklift Certification (training is provided) and experience building frame packsKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Knowledge of various types of lumberAbility to operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipmentKnowledge of safety procedures while performing tasksStrong customer service skillsKnowledge of company products/inventory available at work locationAbility to read and understand invoices and requisitionsBenefits:Tibbetts Lumber offers an excellent benefits package to our employees including:Competitive wagesMedical insuranceDental insuranceLife insuranceShort & Long Term Disability401(k) planVacation, Sick & Holiday payHealth Savings AccountLegal Disclosures:Tibbetts Lumber Co.
