Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol
Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support a smooth daily operation through strong communication and customer service. In a role built on teamwork and integrity, you will bring a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative approach to people, property, and security-related concerns throughout your assigned area.

DayTime Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and delivery traffic, verifying credentials, following post orders, and reporting access issues or policy violations.
- Observe site operations and report damaged gates, lighting issues, unsecured doors, and/or other conditions that could affect security-related operations at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
