ALL positions begin as Part-Time with the option to bid on a full-time position when one becomes available.
Responsibilities
Provide first response to emergencies, including medical incidents.
Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned.
Will provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions.
Enforce federal and assimilated state laws, conduct mobile patrols, inspections, and searches.
Perform traffic enforcement and investigations, initiate arrests, and transport individuals.
Guard NASA-owned or leased buildings and property, protect equipment and materials, and control access.
Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, and facility checks, and perform package and parcel inspections.
As a critical position will be required to report and remain available for emergency duty in expectation of a disaster or declared emergency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be a U.S. citizen and at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
Possession of a Diploma or certificate as a graduate of a Federal, State, or local law enforcement agency; or military services recognized basic law enforcement or physical security training academy preferred, but not required.
Ability to work flexible hours such as weekends or holidays if needed.
CPR/BLS certification.
Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
Preferred: 1 year of military or law enforcement experience, and a diploma or certificate from a recognized law enforcement or physical security training academy.

USD $24.88/Hr.
