Lead Line Cook / Prep Cook Concourse Club: Our Lounge atop the Element by Westin, Wood-Ridge, NJ Summary of Position As a member of our kitchen team, it is the line cook's primary responsibility to prepare the highest quality food, consistently and effectively. Hourly Wage Range: Begins at $18.00 an hour. Actual rate offered will be based upon experience, location, and position. As a Line Cook, you will: Accurately and efficiently prepare hot food items Prepare and portion food products prior to cooking Perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items Demonstrate a true desire to satisfy the needs of others Perform other duties as assigned Keys to Success – Required Experience & Skills 1-2+ years' experience as a line cook in a high-volume kitchen is REQUIRED Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team An impressive work‑ethic Must have a great personality, desire to serve guests, and enjoy working as part of a team Must be able to multi‑task Up‑beat and engaging Neat, clean, and professional appearance Benefits Advancement Opportunities – We promote from within!
