Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, ensuring adherence to established protocols and procedures.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex cardiac and neuro conditions.
• Float between units as needed to maintain optimal staff coverage and patient care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manage patient ratios of 1:2-1:3, ensuring high-quality and personalized care.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as ECMO, Impella, and IABP in patient care.

Qualifications

• Current Compact Registered Nurse License.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience required, including cardiac and neuro experience.
• Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS necessary.
• Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction.
• Proficiency with electronic charting systems.
• Ability to work every other weekend and willingness to float between units as required.
