Role Description The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to birthing individuals and their babies in both routine and complex delivery situations. Responsibilities include assessing, monitoring, and supporting patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, assisting with cesarean births, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe outcomes. This is a full-time, on-site role at Natividad Medical Center located in Salinas, CA. Qualifications Strong clinical skills in labor and delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care Experience in patient monitoring, including fetal heart rate, vital signs, and labor progression Ability to assist in medical procedures such as cesarean deliveries and neonatal resuscitation Proficiency in effective communication, teamwork, and family-centered care Knowledge of evidence-based practices and compliance with hospital protocols and standards Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California BLS and NRP certifications (required), advanced certifications such as ACLS or specialty certifications in obstetric care (preferred) Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similar setting (preferred) Commitment to fostering a culturally sensitive and inclusive care environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
