Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic health conditions, developing treatment plans based on their specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of techniques to treat patients, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, tailored to meet individual needs.
• Document all treatment sessions meticulously, ensuring accurate tracking of progress, and regularly reassess and adjust therapy goals based on patient response.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions and the importance of adherence to treatment plans, empowering them with knowledge to assist in their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to integrate physical therapy treatment within the broader context of patient care, enhancing overall treatment efficacy.
• Participate in training and mentorship programs, especially for new graduates, fostering an environment of personal and professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to aid patients of all ages who are experiencing a range of conditions, including but not limited to orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-operative recoveries. Because our services cater to a broad demographic, your role will involve adapting treatment techniques to fit the varied needs of patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Proficiency in various healthcare technologies and electronic health record systems.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a patient-centric mindset.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional experience in outpatient care or a related field is preferred, although recent graduates with relevant clinical rotations may also be considered.
• Experience in implementing exercise programs tailored to specific patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits
