Overview Susquehanna is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator to join our team! This role offers the opportunity to leverage your current knowledge of relational database expertise to ensure stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform. You will not only focus on installing, configuring, and updating our growing environment of instances, but will also ensure that current and future instances are optimized to meet the needs of our evolving business. Scalability - This opportunity offers exposure to our high transaction and high availability financial trading environment consisting of multiple database platforms. Collaboration - You will partner closely with fellow database administrators, as well as our development and engineering teams to share ideas and recommendations for solutions that will increase and expand our enterprise database capabilities. Automation - As we continue to look for ways to automate and improve our environment, you will have the opportunity to further develop your scripting skills. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline required 5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL required 2+ years of experience with MariaDB required Strong relational database knowledge, troubleshooting, and performance tuning required Thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and Linux shell scripting required Thorough understanding of database backup and recovery concepts required Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Percona Knowledge of high availability architectures Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline daily tasks and workflows.
