Patient Care Coordinator - Front Office | $16.00/HR
Shelby, NC | Monday–Thursday, 9 AM – 5 PM | Friday, 9 AM – 1:00 PM

About the Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator for a healthcare practice in Shelby, NC. This role manages front office duties, patient scheduling, and inventory coordination while delivering excellent customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming manner
• Check patients in and out; schedule appointments for new and existing patients
• Answer and triage incoming calls
• Prepare patient charts and assist with room preparation
• Coordinate hearing aid orders, shipping/receiving, and repairs
• Assist insurance coordinator with policy verification and data entry
• Send out letters, audiograms, and reports; manage eDocs
• Open/close front office and maintain supplies and cleanliness
• Prep treatment rooms between patients, including sterilization/infection control
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and business information

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of office experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong computer/keyboard skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize under deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Comfortable with frequent interruptions and a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to attend required training (including PFL/Audigy training) and travel out of state for professional development as needed
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and stand/walk throughout the day
• Must pass a satisfactory criminal background check as a condition of employment; candidates are evaluated individually and in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
