Athletic concessions offer a unique avenue for outreach to the community by providing outstanding hospitality to guests who attend events at the multiple sports venues on campus. This is a part‑time 10‑month position. Qualifications A strong, clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for Christian Academy School System Agreement and belief that the Bible is the final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind The ideal candidate shall possess: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment Accountabilities/Responsibilities Fill in when Concessions Coordinator is unavailable Organize inventory and set price points appropriate for products sold Willingness to work with team parents to schedule and train volunteer workers Responsible for opening and closing the concession stand(s) each night Ensure concession stands are stocked, cleaned and products are rotated for freshness Maintain health department guidelines for food preparation Outcomes Enhance relationships with students, parents and school alumni Accurate and up to date record keeping of sales and purchases Assure excellent stewardship of God’s resources in time, talent and treasure Create a welcoming environment to visitors and CAL families Physical Requirements Must be able to traverse various athletic grounds and facilities Prolonged periods of standing or walking Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds at a time Reporting Relationship The Concession Stand Assistant is responsible to the Director of Athletics.
