Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification
- Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working with middle school-aged children is highly desirable
- Strong communication, consultation, and assessment skills
- Ability to create engaging support plans and collaborate with educators, families, and external partners
- Familiarity with developing IEPs and implementing behavioral interventions
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations
- Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ emotional and social well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement intervention strategies
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
- Offer crisis intervention and consultation for educational staff as needed
- Prepare thorough and timely reports, with the convenience of one designated hybrid work day each week for focused writing
