Delivery Specialist - Hub

Responsibilities Deliver parts and products to O’Reilly stores and the distribution center safely and efficiently. Drive the company vehicle, using a legal required state driver’s license and meeting company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route and deliver to the appropriate store. Maintain a daily city route manifest for all deliveries. Keep the fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Familiarize yourself with accident report guidelines and fill out any required reports. Ensure a designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Make deliveries according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or stores remaining on the route. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management. Clock in/out according to company policy. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day’s business. Drive safely and defensively. Required Qualifications Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system. Legal required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
