This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on building, automating, deploying, and supporting cloud-native applications and infrastructure.The ideal candidate is a builder who enjoys working across the full technology stack, from cloud infrastructure and platform engineering to backend services and modern front-end development. This role requires strong ownership, software engineering fundamentals, and hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools.Key ResponsibilitiesCloud & Infrastructure EngineeringDesign, develop, and maintain Terraform modules and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account and multi-region environments.Execute and troubleshoot Terraform deployments through Terraform Enterprise (TFE).Support networking, compute, database, and containerized infrastructure platforms.DevOps & Platform EngineeringBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Spinnaker, and related automation tools.Implement deployment automation, release management processes, and infrastructure governance.Troubleshoot Kubernetes, deployment, policy, and infrastructure-related issues.Support containerized workloads running on Kubernetes platforms.Software DevelopmentDevelop and maintain backend applications using Java (Spring Boot), Go, Python, or TypeScript.Build and enhance front-end applications using React, Next.js, or modern JavaScript frameworks.Deliver end-to-end features spanning UI, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.AI-Assisted EngineeringUtilize AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, or similar.Review, validate, improve, and deploy AI-generated code and infrastructure artifacts.Participate in AI-assisted development workflows and engineering best practices.Required QualificationsMust-Have Skills6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.Strong Terraform experience, including Terraform module development and authorship.Experience with AWS services in production environments, including multi-account and multi-region architectures.Hands-on Kubernetes experience (EKS, AKS, GKE, OpenShift, or similar).Strong CI/CD pipeline automation experience.Proficiency in one or more of the following:Java (Spring Boot)GoTypeScript/JavaScriptPythonExperience building modern front-end applications using React.Strong scripting skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.Hands-on experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools in daily engineering workflows.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.Preferred QualificationsTerraform Enterprise (TFE) and private module registry experience.Strong Java Spring Boot development experience.Go development experience.Experience with Spinnaker deployments and pipeline management.On-premises Kubernetes experience.Experience with AI Engineering frameworks, RAG, MCP, LangChain, or custom AI tooling.Active GitHub or open-source contributions.Experience with enterprise IAM solutions.Identity & Security Experience (Preferred)Experience with one or more of the following:ForgeRock / Ping IdentityOkta, Auth0, Keycloak, Ping Federate, ADFSOAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0Redis or CockroachDB-based session management platformsIdeal Candidate ProfileHands-on engineer passionate about building solutions.Comfortable working across infrastructure, backend, and front-end technologies.Strong cloud-native and DevOps background.Experienced with automation and AI-driven software delivery.Self-directed, adaptable, and capable of delivering results with minimal supervision.Target Candidate TitlesSoftware Engineer IIFull Stack EngineerPlatform EngineerCloud EngineerDevOps EngineerSite Reliability Engineer (SRE)Not TargetingStaff EngineerPrincipal EngineerSolutions ArchitectCloud ArchitectEngineering ManagerDirector-Level Candidate
