Job Title: Manufacturing Technician II

Location: Santa Clara, CA 95054
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $30.00/hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift: First Shift
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Overview:

The Manufacturing Technician II performs manufacturing, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and verification activities for single-use technologies and related control systems in a regulated production environment.

The technician ensures product quality, follows production schedules, maintains accurate documentation, and works according to GMP, safety, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manufacturing, assembly, testing, rework, and Build Functional Verification (BFV) activities by following SOPs and work instructions.
• Build, test, program, modify, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and components, including VABs, TruLogic systems, thin clients, pump towers, controllers, transmitters, cables, hoses, and Mass Flow Controller Assemblies.
• Prepare systems for integration, testing, validation, teardown, and final quality inspection.
• Assemble, clean, maintain, and prepare equipment for production activities.
• Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), validation, and final product verification.
• Complete production activities according to work orders, schedules, and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate production records, travelers, and other required documentation.
• Identify and communicate production issues, deviations, and non-conformances.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized, and audit-ready work area.
• Support material staging, parts issuance, and production planning.
• Coordinate with Planning, Integration, Validation, Quality, Logistics, and Engineering teams.
• Participate in cross-training and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) activities.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or operations.
• Experience with manufacturing, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or equipment-related activities.
• Experience following SOPs, work instructions, and production documentation requirements.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly operations, testing procedures, and production workflows.
• Ability to read and understand SOPs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), schematics, layout drawings, and technical documents.
• Ability to assemble, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify equipment and components.
• Experience using common hand tools, electrical test equipment, and measurement devices.
• Understanding of safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience with single-use technologies, bioprocess equipment, or industrial control systems.
• Experience supporting validation, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), or quality inspections.
• Familiarity with controller and transmitter programming or configuration.
• Experience using ERP systems such as Agile, SAP, or similar systems.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation and quality management systems.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Practical Process Improvement (PPI), or continuous improvement methods.
