If so, please continue reading!/ppJob Purpose/ppField Service Technicians are the primary service leaders for all A-Gas Rapid Recovery customers within a specific geographic area. They are responsible for job site services, preventative maintenance of equipment, refrigerant cylinder consolidation, and customer interactions. Projects can vary in size, ranging from single residential split systems to large chilling systems that operate with tens of thousands of pounds of refrigerant, as well as projects involving thousands of units./ppKey Responsibilities/pulliDrive company truck to designated work sites daily to carry out reclamation and recovery services for refrigerant and other specialty gases as needed./liliProvide exceptional service and customer support to all clients./liliIdentify additional opportunities for service, gas buy-back, and refrigerant spot buy sales to meet or exceed territory targets./liliSubmit daily work orders and weekly expense reports promptly./liliTake proper care of your assigned vehicle by keeping it clean, in good condition, and maintained according to the vehicle manual./liliOperate electric pallet jack as needed./liliWork safely, and ensure you and others adhere to safety standards./liliParticipate in DOT random drug testing program/liliPerform any other duties as assigned./li/ulpExperience, Knowledge, and Qualifications/pulliA high school diploma or GED is required./lili1-3 years of related industry or mechanical experience is preferable./liliFlexibility in working hours. Overtime may be required./liliTechnical knowledge and the ability to adhere to all safety procedures is a must./liliComputer skills are required, including the ability to type and utilize current technology./liliStrong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external customers./li/ulpLicensing and Medical Requirements/pulliMust have a state-issued drivers license and be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record./liliEPA Universal Certification is preferred, or the ability to obtain certification within 14 days of employment/liliMust possess, at minimum, a non-CDL medical card or valid Class C CDL with a HazMat Endorsement/li/ulpObtaining a Non-CDL Medical Card/ppIf you do not currently have a non-CDL medical card, it is required that you obtain one within 30 days of your hire date./ppPhysical Demands/pulliThis role requires the ability to work outside in various weather conditions./liliA substantial amount of time will be spent driving in the truck./liliThe employee must regularly stand, sit, walk, use hands for various tasks, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and communicate effectively./liliThis position demands heavy physical work, including occasionally exerting over 100 pounds of force (possibly up to 350 pounds), and/or frequently exerting over 75 pounds of force, and/or constantly exerting over 50 pounds of force to move or lift objects./li/ulpWhy A-Gas?/ppThis position starts at $26 hour, depending on experience.
