Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive medical-surgical care to adult patients. The role involves flexible shift options and potential cross-unit coverage, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide bedside nursing care to patients aged 18 and older in a medical-surgical setting.
• Float to surgical, pediatric, or transitional care units as needed to support clinical workflow.
• Utilize Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes to deliver effective patient treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and hospital policies at all times.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Hawaii Registered Nurse license prior to start date.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years' experience in medical-surgical nursing or higher-level care.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EMR systems and clinical equipment.
• Maintain BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Exhibit strong clinical communication and critical thinking skills.
• Be adaptable to various shift lengths and workdays; flexible availability required.
