Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing care to individuals with mental health conditions in various settings Conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress Administer psychotropic medications and provide education regarding their effects and side effects Coordinate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care Encourage patient engagement in therapeutic activities and group sessions Join GLI and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. Your role will not just involve clinical care but also be an essential part of the recovery journey for many. Qualifications Valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of two years of mental health nursing experience, recent experience worked within the last 6 months BLS and/or ACLS certifications required Comfortable with 12‑hour shifts (days/nights, rotating weekends) EMR proficiency U.S. Citizens or holders of a Green Card Any U.S. State RN License in good standing in this field is accepted Key Skills Strong assessment skills Effective communication Empathy Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams Continuing Education Must meet state licensure continuing education requirements to maintain a valid nursing license. This is a local, on‑site opportunity in Charleston, SC supporting a long‑term (5‑year) federal healthcare contract .
