Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

$1933.92/week - Job Summary: Provide high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure timely and effective treatment, adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards. Responsibilities: Administer comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across all ages with various acute conditions. Perform advanced clinical assessments, including EKG exams, and interpret results accurately. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain compliance with all required certifications, including BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. Utilize Epic EMR system effectively for documentation and patient management. Float to various hospital departments as needed to support operational demands. Qualifications: Hold an active nursing license and meet state licensing requirements. Possess a minimum of 2 years of emergency or critical care experience. Demonstrate proficiency in Epic EMR and perform well on EKG compliance exams. Be certified in BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. Have experience working in STEMI and stroke protocols in a hospital setting. Be able to pass a background check without open cases and submit third-party education verification.
