In this retail location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. This unarmed role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer service, clear communication, and teamwork while bringing a reliable, caring, and integrity-driven approach to each shift. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential policy violations. Monitor access points, high-traffic areas, and merchandise-sensitive locations to help support loss prevention efforts and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Assist with closing procedures, crowd management, and customer inquiries while maintaining a visible presence that helps support order throughout the location. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
