Lead Hot Tub Delivery & Installation Technician

Position Overview

Pool World is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Hot Tub Delivery Technician to join our delivery team. This position is ideal for someone with prior experience delivering and installing hot tubs, spas, swim spas, or other large products requiring specialized handling and customer interaction.

The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating complex deliveries, troubleshooting installation issues, and ensuring every customer receives a first-class delivery experience. Candidates with significant experience delivering large, heavy products such as appliances, furniture, fitness equipment, or similar items are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and position hot tubs, saunas, and related products at customer homes and businesses
• Assist with site assessments and delivery planning
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation-related issues during delivery
• Install delivery accessories and perform final setup tasks
• Move hot tubs and inventory between Pool World locations
• Educate customers on basic product operation and care
• Work closely with the Delivery Coordinator to ensure efficient scheduling and successful deliveries
• Assist the service department as needed with basic technical service and repair work
• Maintain company vehicles, trailers, and delivery equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the delivery process

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience delivering and installing hot tubs, spas, swim spas, or other large products.
• At least 1 year of experience operating trailers, dollies, moving equipment, and other delivery tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to qualify for and maintain coverage under our company driver's insurance policy
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Must be at least 18 years old

Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding position requiring:

• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling, and climbing
• Ability to safely move and maneuver heavy products with a team using specialized equipment, including occasional handling of items weighing 100+ pounds.
• Working outdoors in all weather conditions
• 10-12 hour workdays during peak delivery periods

Schedule

• Monday through Friday. Start time is 7:30 AM, with end times varying based on delivery schedules and seasonal workload.
• Team members begin and end each day at our Spokane Valley location (13524 E. Sprague Ave.)
