Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support student communication and language development in a dynamic school-based setting. In this role, you will work with a manageable caseload, providing evaluations, therapy services, and individualized support to help students achieve their academic and functional goals. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and make a meaningful impact on student success across a diverse population.
Assignment Details
Caseload: Approximately 50 students
Schedule: Full-time, school-based calendar
Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Qualifications
- Active West Virginia SLP license (or eligibility)
- Previous school-based experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
