Harmony Care at Giddings is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team. As the Director of Nursing, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and a positive work environment for our dedicated team. • Provide leadership and direction for all nursing services within the facility.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Promote a culture focused on quality care, resident satisfaction, and clinical excellence.

• Recruit, mentor, develop, and retain a high-performing nursing team.

• Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to achieve operational and clinical goals.

• Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, and survey readiness.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and department budgets.

• Lead quality improvement initiatives and implement best practices.

• Foster strong communication with residents, families, physicians, and staff.

• Create a positive, collaborative work environment built on accountability and respect.

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.

• Previous Nursing leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.

• Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing experience is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey process, and clinical operations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for developing teams and improving resident outcomes.
