They provide emotional support and guidance before, during, and after labor. They identify high-risk pregnancies. They educate patients and their families on antenatal care and reproductive health. Midwives work in birthing centers, patients' homes, or hospital environments. The role includes performing 24-hour shifts in-house during deliveries. The contract length is for 12 weeks and may be extended based on needs.
