Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting at a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill cardiac and neurological patients throughout the night shift
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR
• Float within scope to like units as needed, consistent with expectations placed on staff nurses
• Participate in holiday rotation as required by facility scheduling needs
• Respond to emergency response team assignments as directed, including during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Minimum 1 year of CVICU experience required (2 years preferred)
• Cardiac and neurological nursing experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local travelers are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of CVICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience (first-time travelers are not accepted for this assignment)
