Senior Sales Manager, UAV Batteries

Lyten is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sales Manager, UAV Batteries to lead the growth of our lightweight, high-performance Li‑S batteries in the commercial and defense UAV markets within the Europe region.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate and expand market share within the UAV sector.
• Leverage industry relationships and existing contacts to open new opportunities and strengthen Lyten’s market position.
• Drive revenue growth by exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets throughout the entire sales cycle.
• Forge strategic partnerships with UAV OEMs, defense primes, and technology integrators to embed Lyten batteries in next‑generation platforms.
• Act as a technical expert, articulating the performance advantages of Lyten’s Li‑S battery technology to technical audiences.
• Collaborate closely with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to meet customer requirements and provide market feedback.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical proposals, demonstrations, and product overviews to potential customers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, market needs, and the competitive landscape.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and regularly report on sales, revenue, and expenses to senior management.
• Represent Lyten at relevant industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build brand awareness and generate new leads.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field AND 7+ years of B2B or military sales experience, OR bachelor’s degree AND 9+ years of related sales experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of the UAV market, its applications, and key players in both commercial and defense sectors.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and growing business revenue.
• Experience selling complex, high‑value technology solutions in commercial and government procurement environments.
• Strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the battery, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry events.

Physical Requirements

• Requires long periods of standing and extensive travel.

Compensation

Base salary range: $155,200.00 – $232,800.00. Additional compensation may include tier‑based bonus and equity, plus standard benefits such as healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k), paid holidays, PTO, and sick time.
