We look forward to meeting you.The RoleThis requisition is for a position within the one of the Propulsion and Reactor Engineering Planning Yard’s (PREPY) electrical system/component or electromechanical component groups with opportunities to support the development of new aircraft carriers, modernization of the existing aircraft carrier fleet, design of a new battleship class, and standard valve designs used throughout the Navy. The PREPY is a single multidiscipline, cross-platform design agency, which is responsible for the design, development, and lifetime support of the propulsion plants (including reactor plant) of all Navy aircraft carriers (NIMITZ and FORD Class) and nuclear battleships (BBGN Class), as well as the standard valves used across all Navy ships.This senior level engineer will be responsible for system and/or component designs. Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
