Job Description

Answering calls : Pick up phone lines quickly and greet callers in a polite way.
Transferring calls : Send callers to the correct person, extension, or department using a computer or phone system.
Taking messages : Write down clear details when staff members are away from their desks.
Giving basic info : Answer simple questions about the company, hours, or services.
Handling emergencies : Route urgent calls or broadcast safety codes and alarms in places like hospitals.
Information and directory assistance
Patient and visitor communications review
Administrative call processing
Incident and call documentation
Shift scheduling and workforce coordination
Performance reporting and quality call
