You will work closely with our Board-Certified Oncologists to manage complex cases, administer life-saving treatments, and provide a bridge of communication between the doctor and the client. Key Responsibilities: Chemotherapy Administration: Safely handling, preparing, and administering chemotherapeutic agents following strict safety protocols Advanced Nursing: Performing venipuncture, placing IV catheters, and monitoring anesthesia for biopsies or imaging. Diagnostic Support: Assisting with diagnostic sample collection and processing Client Advocacy: Educating owners on treatment side effects, quality-of-life assessments, and home care Case Management:Maintaining detailed electronic medical records and managing pharmacy refills. Pathway to Join Our Team: Credentials: Must be a Certified Veterinary Technicianin good standing. Experience:Possess a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience. While prior oncology experience is preferred, we are willing to train a high skilled CVT with a strong interest in the field.
