Controls Engineer
L2x Talent Solutions
-Perform machine function testing to ensure control panel components, field devices, and wiring perform per design and meet UL508A, UL698A, and NEC requirements
-Develop, modify, and optimize PLC, HMI, and VFD programs to support industrial and process equipment operation
-Integrate control system hardware and software (PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, safety devices, relays, etc.) into new builds and retrofit machinery builds. Electrical wiring, terminations, and labeling.
-Troubleshoot electrical circuits, control systems, and drives during machine checkout, startup, and field service: 480/120/24V
-Provide remote technical support for electrical and control system troubleshooting, via phone, email, and remote connections
-Prepare and maintain project documentation, including electrical drawings, controller tag lists, process narratives, and controls operational documents
-Perform drawing updates in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical, or related field
-0-1+ years of professional experience within electrical controls, automation, industrial controls, or industrial equipment
